Miguel Desmarais Visiting Student

Miguel Desmarais (center-right) has just arrived at Lab42open for his Master’s summer internship. He is currenty a Master’s student in Deft, Netherlands at the IHE Delft Institute for Water Education, following his major in microbiology, oceanography and biochemical processes during his Bachelors (University of British Columbia). His interests are harvesting the metabolic power and interrelationship of microbial communities and microalgae for bioengineering. His biochemistry background and specific orientation toward engineering will assist the curation of processes in the PREGO platform.
